When it rains, children cannot play
At Colegio Campestre Santo Domingo Savio, recess is one of the most anticipated moments of the day. But when it rains — and in Anolaima, Cundinamarca, it rains often — children must stay indoors, without space, without movement.
The problem we want to solve
The current courts are open-air. Without cover, rain cancels sports, play, and community time. Children need a dignified space to develop physically, socialize and grow. That space cannot depend on the weather.
Our proposal
Build a covered court that allows students to play in any weather condition. A space that also serves for presentations, community events and activities that currently have no venue.
